Sustainable Food for the Globe Everyday People Producing Food In Abundance eBook Norma Burnson Reviews
Looks like might be good information, but I have not read it yet.
This a great book to get you thinking about how you are doing your part in the world. I work in the fight against human trafficking and found ideas in this book to use in my work as well. We all need to be more aware of things happening in the world and how we can be part of the solution rather than the problem. This is a great resource for everyone.
Wonderful book! It is written well so that the reader can see and understand the need for food globally. Here you will not only see where food is being wasted but what can possibly be done about it. Never a dull moment when looking over the information Norma Burnson has worked hard to make it available to us all. Thank you for the chance to Feed the Need.
In this volume Norma Burnson has presented in a clear and easy to follow presentation wonderful and practical ideas for the future of our food supply system. This book should be read by anyone who is in a position to develop a realistic policy for the production and consumption of our edible planet. There is much wisdom here and I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the question, "How are we going to feed everyone ?" Well, if you read this book to the finish you will be given a good idea as to the answer plus, as an added bonus, it is really a treat to read !
This is the second book that I have read by Norma Burnson.
Her book inspires hope for the future of sustainability of food and other resources for our planet. She shows there are already people teaching easy, manageable, workable solutions, which can be done on a daily basis by individuals, and done globally by organizations.
The experts she interviews emphasize things we can each do individually, but also stresses the importance of educating all of us, adults and children alike, to be more self-sufficient and less wasteful as consumers. She taps into the knowledge and experience of several individuals from around the world, each with their unique approach to people's obstacles for having access to food and other resources. There is also information from an inventor who has created devices to improve pollination, especially important with the decline in bee populations.
I am most excited for what Energime University will be able to accomplish in the years to come.
The best part is there is contact information for each of the experts or links to their websites if you want more information or wish to help their cause. All in all, it was an enlightenment to read this book, has inspired me to consider gardening, and to pay closer attention to my consumerism.
Norma, thank you.
Great read! Highly recommend!
